All owners of Miniature Bull Terriers agree that the moment of bringing a puppy home is one of the most exciting ones. Owners try to follow every step the puppy takes in its new environment and see how it likes being there. Little Miniature Bull Terriers start their life in a new home differently. Some puppies easily adjust to the surroundings, others need time to learn the place and feel comfortable.
It is the owner's task to help the puppy adjust more easily to the new home. Keep in mind that it is the first time the puppy is placed on its own. Before this time, it always was with the dam and the littermates. Do not worry if the Miniature Bull Terrier is a little shy.
Miniature Bull Terriers - Diet
The primary concern of the owner is to supply the dog with necessary care. It is recommended to ask for a list of products to which the puppy has been accustomed. Meals should be divided into a few feeding sessions. A puppy needs three or four small meals a day. The number of meals should be reduced gradually as the puppy grows. Be careful to not overfeed the dog. Miniature Bull Terriers are prone to obesity. As an adult, the Miniature Bull Terrier should be fed a balanced diet of fresh meat and dry canine products.
Miniature Bull Terriers - Training
The Miniature Bull Terrier needs early training. These dogs may be difficult to train. It is probably due to their dominance. However, the breed is intelligent and active. Try to start training during play. Puppies will easily learn the basic commands. Obedience training is highly recommended for Miniature Bull Terriers.
